My hypothesis was proven. Lemon juice cleaned the baseball pants halves the best out of all.
In this experiment, the best solution to clean dirty baseball pants was lemon juice. The solutions were put directly in the washing machine dispenser. If I would have rubbed the solutions directly on the dirty pants, my results may have turned out differently. In addition, the results could have varied if I used warm water during the wash cycle instead of warm water. My graph indicates that lemon juice is the best cleaner for the baseball pants, Tide is the second best cleaner, water is an okay cleaner and vinegar and Clorox do not clean much at all.
I could improve the project next time by getting more solutions that I think would be able to clean the pants also. I could use colored baseball pants to see if dirt affects them differently.
